Our responsibility goes beyond selling tyres

At Allopneus, our role does not end with the delivery or fitting of tyres. Because tyres are a technical product that accompanies every journey, we believe our responsibility extends throughout their entire lifecycle: collecting end-of-life tyres, supporting drivers, promoting the circular economy and contributing to local communities.

Our CSR approach is driven by a simple objective: helping to create more responsible mobility for motorists as well as two-wheel vehicle users.

CONTRIBUTING TO THE TYRE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Every year, millions of tyres reach the end of their life. Their collection and recovery are essential for limiting environmental impact and preserving resources.

For many years, Allopneus has been actively involved in these issues. The company joined Aliapur in 2010, the leading organisation dedicated to collecting and recycling end-of-life tyres in France, helping to ensure their collection and recovery.

This approach also relies on a nationwide network of partner garages, fitting centres and mobile fitting franchises, which collect used tyres during replacement operations.

Beyond tyre recycling itself, we strive to promote responsible mobility across all our activities, whether for motorists or two-wheel vehicle users, while paying particular attention to optimising the logistics flows associated with our business. This commitment also involves the use of lower-emission transport solutions: some of our delivery partners operate electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries, while nearly 10% of the flows transported between our Valence warehouse and distribution hubs are carried out using electric heavy goods vehicles.
